Reflecting health and good fortune, Peranakan Spoons are decorated with auspicious emblems that have, throughout history, appeared on fabrics, chinaware, wooden furniture, jewelry, and more.  As a brand that promotes meaningful local narratives through patterns and colours, Onlewo draws on the rich Peranakan heritage to create motifs as a tribute to the beauty of Peranakan expressions. In this rendition, a Singapore Orchid is placed on the Peranakan Spoon to reflect the Peranakan community’s treasured role within Singapore culture.
